This celebration is just for you! Use this agenda to plan ahead and make the most of your day as an admitted transfer student. For your safety, and that of our campus community, all attendees are strongly encouraged to wear face coverings. Do not attend if you are feeling unwell or experiencing COVID-related symptoms.

Free parking will be available for this event in Parking Lot 24.

9–9:30 AM: CHECK-IN/REGISTRATION, HIGHLANDER UNION BUILDING (HUB) 302

9:30–9:45 AM: WELCOME SESSION, HUB 302

Enjoy a brief and upbeat welcome from the Provost and the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.

9:45 A.M–11:45 PM: PANELS & PRESENTATIONS, HUB 302

9:45–10:25 AM: Next Step to Enrollment
Transfer deadlines, forms, and contracts can be confusing, but this session held by Undergraduate Admissions will get you on the right track for your first day at UCR.
10:25–11:05 AM: Transfer Resources Panel
Hear from a panel of current transfer students on their experiences and get their advice on making the most of your time at UCR.
11:05–11:45 AM: Financial Aid Presentation
Learn how grants, scholarships, and loans can help you achieve your dreams at UCR.

Where can I Park?

Free Parking will be available in Lot 24.
Do I need to make a reservation?

Yes. Please register to let us know that you plan to attend.
Is there a cost?

Nope. The Winter Transfer Celebration is on the house.
Do I need to “bring” anything?
Just bring your questions. Below are some helpful resources, in case you want to get a head start on exploring UCR.
Do I need to attend the full event?

No, but we encourage you to virtually attend as much of the event as possible, specifically the sessions related to your admitted college.
Are guests allowed?

Absolutely. You may bring up to two guests. Please indicate number of guests on the registration form.
Can I submit my Statement of Intent to Register (SIR) before the Winter Transfer Celebration?

Absolutely! Visit My.UCR.EDU to submit your SIR. The official SIR deadline is Oct. 15. We’re excited that you’ll be joining us for winter 2023 as a new UCR Highlander!
